Five Question Friday

It's FRIDAY!  Can I get a "WOOT! WOOT!"?  The week went pretty quickly, which is always good and I have summer hours today, so I am done at 11:30!  YIPPEE!!

It's gonna be a busy one for us...lots of bouncers out all over town, so Hubster and the older boys will be gone most of the day on both Saturday and Sunday.

So, being Friday and all, it's time to play Mama M's Five Question Friday!  Head on over for a visit and play along!  Here are this week's questions:

1. Is love at 1st sight possible?

I don't think so.  Lust at first sight, yes, but I think that love is something that takes time and getting to know someone.  You can't fall in "love" with someone that quickly.

2. How did you choose your pet's name?

Boy Oneder used to watch "Caillou" when he was little...thank God Threepeat doesn't watch that hideous show!  I HATE IT!  Caillou's little sister's name is "Rosie"...Boy Oneder wanted to name our bichon after Caillou's little sister....UGH.  Love the name, hate the show.
3. What are you considering giving up (cable, home phone)?

Giving up?  Nothing.  LOL.

4. How much do you pay your babysitter?

We've never used a babysitter for any of our kids.  When Boy Oneder and Middleman were little, their grandparents would watch them if we went out and now, Threepeat stays with his older brothers on the rare occasion that Hubster and I go out.

5. How "young" is old enough to babysit?

My number is 13.  But I think it depends ALOT on the kid.  I know some 11 year olds who are more mature than my 13 year old and some 16 year olds who are less mature than my 5 year old!  I think the law here in Canada is that you can leave your kid at 12 and a kid can babysit another kid at 13...that's my rule anyway.  I have left Threepeat with Middleman before he turned 13, but only to run to the grocery store for 15 minutes or so.  Now, I am comfortable leaving them alone during the day, but I still want Boy Oneder here if it's at night time.

Happy Friday!!  Have a GREAT weekend!

We rarely go out too, but sometimes a date night is just a MUST. :) I really love it when grandparents can step in and help. :)

As grandparents we are called upon to babysit. Our oldest daughter only gets date nights when we come and visit as she lives 16 hours away. We are appreciated.
