Easy like a Sunday morning...

Last night, Hubster and I went to Casinorama for Middleman's soccer team fundraiser. I sold a total of 15 tickets...8 of my most awesome neighbours, one neigbour's parents, our besties, Kath & Bru and a dear friend, Liza. We had a blast on the bus, complete with raffles and jello shots....ooooh I love jello shots. June and Rob took very good care of us...thanks guys! We had a great (and surprisingly cheap) dinner at "Cedar" and then headed into the casino for some gambling. No one won anything worth talking about, some of us broke even and some of us lost a little, but we had fun doing it! I'm sure with the amount we lost that we will have a few comp'd tickets for upcoming concerts! HA! We got home at about 12:30 and I swear I was asleep before my head hit the pillow. I slept right through the night, until 8:04 am when my little Rosie barked to go out. Sigh...no Threepeat to wake me this morning, but Rosie took up right where he left off! It ended up being a good thing though because I needed to put the turkey in the oven. MIL asked me if we could do our Easter dinner today (Palm Sunday) because she plans to go to her daughter's house for Easter Sunday. Perfect! TWO Easter turkeys for Dawn! HA! I have a ton of laundry and housework to do, so it's a real blessing that the boys (read as Threepeat) stayed overnight at my Mom's. I can clean without "help" from a little man who makes more of a mess than anything else! LOL After the cleaning, I am looking forward to chilling out and relaxing. Love lazy(ish) Sundays. Pin It
