Fate

Today, I spoke to the ex-girlfriend of the man who drove the car that hit and killed my sister...let's call her "S" She is SUCH a lovely person...so caring and just, well...lovely. There have never been any hard feelings about the accident. I know in my heart of hearts that my sister was SOLELY to blame.

Anyway, in a strange twist of fate, her ex-boyfriend, who is with someone else now, happened to bump into "S" this week. His girlfriend is pregnant. She is having a girl. She is due on January 28th...the day my sister was killed.

Am I the only person who thinks that's really weird?

Apparently, he told "S" that they have a name, but he didn't want to share it. Can you IMAGINE if he named her after my sister??? Even if he doesn't, I still think it's an amazing twist of fate.

That is very weird. What a strange coincidence.

It would be even stranger if they did name her after your sister. A beautiful tribute - - but a tragic way to receive a name. That would be a hard one to explain to her, not to mention a constant reminder of one of the saddest and most tragic days of his life to be sure, but if they do decide on that - - I can't think of a more beautiful tribute to your sister.

{hugs} I know the next few weeks will be hard for you. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Wow. Very weird, indeed. Life's weird a lot though, isn't it?

I'm sorry this is such a tough time of the year for you. I don't think I knew until now that this is how your sister passed. I'm so sorry. :(
